Rick Allard is the founder of the Simi Valley Vipers (AAU Club Code WYCF34), a Youth Travel Basketball Club located in Simi Valley.
Coach Rick learned a long time ago the tremendous impact that sports can have on a young athletes life. Given the profound impact that Basketball has had on Coach Rick and his son Luke’s lives, he was inspired to start a basketball skills and mentoring academy called the Simi Vipers, and to expand to a basketball travel club to help the younger generation maximize their potential on a greater level.
The Vipers have trained players from all over the Conejo Valley – Oak Park, Agoura, Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Simi Valley, Northridge and Chatsworth. While some have moved on to play College ball, we have many playing at their local High School.
